5-Axis Simulation tool is developed
to simulate the printer's motions, material depositions, to
evaluate the print quality and printing problems. Besides the x,
y, and z 3D movement in the cartesian space, it can also be able
to simulate b (around the z-axis), and c (rotation in tool
holder) rotations. The simulation speed is adjustable to monitor
the process and detect any printing fault before physical
printing is carried out. The tool also has some cosmetic
features like extruder tracking or printing bed adjustments. The
desired printing path that is to be tested, is imported to the
program as a .csv file which is in a described format in the
document.
